Came across this artist through his stellar remix of Kaskade’s “4 Am”. I just gave his whole CD a listen through and it’s pretty catchy and works great as background music with it’s tight hip-hop beats. This guy came to fame through his live performances using an MPC (drumpad machine), upon which he’s phenomenal! I posted a video below of a live performance he did in Warsaw using samples of sir Skrillex. The album is best toward the end, in my opinion (I first listened to it reverse order). My picks: “Streetz Tonight” and “Lost In A Maze”
Well this is the 150th post on dubPhonics and with that, let the snow start to fall! I’ve been playing through these two albums a lot this week, diggin’ the huge/filthy electro and dubstep sounds – both are amazing productions really.
My picks:OVERWERKS‘ “Buzzin'” and “Paradigm” tracks, Kill The Noise’s “Deal With It (KOAN Sound Remix)”, “Kill The Noise (Dillon Francis Remix)”, and “Dying (Brown & Gammon Remix)” tracks. Get at em!
Otherwise Known As the Gopher State, Minnesota’s major industries & exports are dubstep, electro, and remixes. Some would even say it resembles the great state of Bassnectar, I would have to agree. Seriously though, check out this artist! Some favorite tunes of the moment is his “Push It” and “Hold Up” tracks. Good tunes await your listening.
Zomboy just dropped his new EP, “Game Time”, and I’m loving it! Such a high production, similar to Skrillex’s sound/sampling (perhaps we’ve found the thief of skrillex’s laptop – kidding), it’s more of that lively womp I can’t get enough of – this one’s big!
I wasn’t going to post on Skrillex’s newest CD seeing how he’s pretty much opened the flood gates to fandom and I figure most people already have it. Regardless, here’s his latest album in official Beatport release quality. Enjoy the ruffneck bass!
