I thought I’d go back to the roots with this post and start off with some good ol’ dubstep.
I like when artists are personal and outright happy to share their work. Big props to Datsik for the following statement:
Here’s some bootlegs I’ve been holding onto, kinda on the mellower side of things..Blast them out, upload them, share them, do whatever u want! :) Just enjoy!!
Much Love & Respect,
Here are some of the “bootlegs” – The M83 track is put together so well!
For those of you looking to get a bit filthier with M83:
Ellie Goulding’s bonus track, “Lights,” from her, well, “Lights” CD got a nice makover with the help of dubstep artist, Dream.
I always joke about how there’s a dubstep mix of just about EVERY song out there, I’m glad there’s some legitimacy to that statement. Kidnap & Ransom bring us a jaunty dubstep remix of a classic anthem.
Goldhawks just appeared on my radar, but only for this remix, I’ll check out some of their other stuff soon. For now, enjoy this free banger.
With Rad Omen’s debut EP scheduled to release toward the end of this month, they’ve released the HavocNdeeD remix on their site not too long ago. It takes the original down a pace while packing in some additional taps, slaps, and grind.
Smooth flowing asian lullaby with an obvious dubstep twist from Caspa.
I’m really liking this downtempo-esc beat from Stimming, great to mix with for those DJing out there. It’s a very simple beat but I always find myself moving to it (it’s labeled under Dance on iTunes; Tech House on Beatport. But iTunes genres are broad and whack).

Heavy electro mix of “Burning Boys & Girls”. That’s all. Check it out.
For those of you looking for some house, I found this beat a while back. It’s got an uplifting synthed-out hook coupled with a moving beat and vocals strewn throughout.
Heavy electronic beat, cool bassline to start it off. Vocals remind me of Chromeo, but then again I feel like a lot of artists lately strive for that sound.
