O.M.G.!

Rusko (who killed it at Coachella!) finally released his first full-length CD, “O.M.G.!”, despite his presence on the scene for several years and I, for one, am a big fan of it! For the album, Rusko has broadened his sound to include other electro styles like nu-disco (I love how he’s incorporated it), house, and garage while incorporating a unique variety of guests in his wide-ranged, wobble-tastic debut CD.

√++ Picks: “Hold On”, “Dial My Number”, “I Love You”, “Scarewear”, “Raver’s Special”, and “You’re On My Mind Baby”

Rusko – O.M.G.! (Full CD) [140MB] (Big!)

Rusko – Hold On ft. Amber Coffman (Sub Focus Remix) √++

MONARCHY has some new work out, keeping on track with their success hit, Gold In The Fire

MONARCHY – The Phoenix Alive

• MONARCHY – The Phoenix Alive (Kris Menace Mix) √++

A cool progressive house beat by artist Dubfire.

Dubfire – Roadkill (EDX’s Acapulco at Night Remix)

VanGuard did a fantastic remix of Digitalism’s “Pogo”, swapping the vocals for piano! I meant to post this months ago, guess it got lost in the library. Either way, enjoy!

VanGuard Pogo (Piano Edit)

Jupiter came out with a remix of Junior’s “Mama Used to Say” mixing in a fresh taste of nu-disco style, I’m diggin’ it.

Jupiter – Mama Used To Say

dubStepping Stones

I was really feeling this mix this weekend. It has a very ambient/calm build and sounds great with a subwoofer!

• MONARCHY – Gold In The Fire (Flak Attack Remix)

This song just sounds like a dubstep remix right off the bat. So after hearing the other two remixes, it’s kinda hard to see the difference between them besides the additional wobble/drum ‘n’ bass.

Santogold – Starstruck

Santogold – Starstruck (Murdok Remix)

Santogold – Starstruck (Southbound Hangers Remix)

Speaking of Murdok, I noticed not many people clicked on this track when I posted it a while back. It’s Incredible! It literally gives me chills every time I listen to it.

Imogen Heap – 2-1 (Murdok Dubstep Remix) (favorite)

I was watching MTV earlier and saw that Futurecop!’s song, “N.A.S.A.,” was used as the beat for Theophilus London’s song, “Humdrum Town.” I liked both, so here they are for your ears.

Futurecop! – N.A.S.A

Theophilus London – Humdrum Town

I forgot to post these three tracks from back in January! MillionYoung does a nice remix of Memoryhouse’s “To the Lighthouse” with his wavey, dreamy sounding electronic pop music that is soothing and lovely

Memoryhouse – To The Lighthouse (MillionYoung Remix)

MillionYoung – Cynthia

MillionYoung – Mien

I figured I could do a follow up tracks of Ronald Jenkees. Here’s a remix of Halloween (go figure) with an additional drum ‘n’ bass beat added to it

Ronald Jenkees – Halloween (Remix)

DJ Let the Music…

This track rocks a pretty sick beat, but some of the lyrics are painful lol…

Three Six Mafia – Feel It (Partners House Remix)

This song is still in its “demo” phase, it has a really cool grunge guitar pickup around 3:00 that I hope they highlight a little more when it’s officially realease. Great work here!

MONARCHY – Gold In the Fire (Excellent)

A great electro take on the original. Definitely check out The XX though!

The XX – Shelter (Death To The Throne Remix)

Good luck findings these favorites anywhere else! :D

Yoshimoto – Du What U Du (Andy Caldwell & Mei Lwun’s Edit) (well, you can buy it…)

Freeform Five – No More Conversations (Mylo Radio 2007 Re-Edit) (Unreleased version)
