Got a fresh mash-up by Basic Physics that combines some big chunes from artists, Mord Fustang, Daft Punk, and Mike Posner. This one’s shown to be a hit on Turntable.fm (which you should also check out).

Basic Physics – Don’t Lick the Rainbow (Mike Posner vs Mord Fustang vs Daft Punk) √+

Flatland Funk and Tory D provide us with a catchy hip-hop beat with some heavy hitting bass and scratchy wobbles. Bumpin’ beat @ 2:22!

Flatland Funk, Tory D – Lose Control (Lazy Rich & Robb G Remix)

You may recognize this one from Pulp Fiction’s infamous soundtrack. Another great dubstep re-work. I’m really diggin’ the slower tempo WhiteNoise opted to go with in this remix.

Nancy Sinatra – Bang Bang (WhiteNoise Remix) √+

I was incredible stoked to get my hands on emancipator’s newest album today. Glad to see he’s finally released a full-length album full of remixes of his original work.

Calmer Than A Hindu Cow

I never posted any emancipator prior to this although he’s been one of my favorite artists for some time now (holding many of the highest ‘play count’ slots in my iTunes library). I was very excited for the release of his newest CD earlier this year that stayed right on the melodic track of his first album. It dabbles in many different genres from electronica to hip-hop to downtempo through a variety of finely-crafted instrumentals that reflect the styles of artists like Bonobo, Nujabes, and Fat Jon. It features tight, syncopated percussion, organic melodies and eclectic samples. Get this one these two beautiful CDs – I figured I’d throw in both cause this site is awesome like that!

emancipator – Safe In The Steep Cliffs (Full CD) [137MB]

emancipator – Soon It Will Be Cold Enough (Full CD) [117MB] √++

Here are some individual snappers of his that are also pretty tight.

emancipator – Shook (Mobb Deep/Sigur Rós) √++

Happy New Year!

So I thought I’d just throw out some songs I’ve listened to this week, some new some old, hope you like ’em!

Emancipator is unbelievably chill, his original stuff doesn’t have raps or lyrics, it’s all instrumentals, but I thought I’d post one of my favorite mixes of his

emancipator – Shook (Mobb Deep/Sigur Rós)

A little rave music for ya

BT – Every Other Way (Armin van Buuren Remix) (Awesome drop at 1:28)

Ultrabeat – Pretty Green Eyes (CJ Stone Radio Edit) (Great pick up at 1:48)

I dedicated an entire post to Ferry Corsten a while back, this song keeps sneaking into my playlists. “Zip!”

Ferry Corsten – We Belong (Radio Edit)

This song reminds me of a Tiësto-like symphony

• Veracocha – Carte Blanche

I love Louis La Roché! No one knows who he is, so, here he is…

• Louis La Roché – Be Brave

I cut this song from the much larger “Mnuvrs Mixtape Vault [7]” and added some effects, the result:

Louis La Roché – Peach (Mnuvrs Remix) [dubPhonics Edit]

This one is for the one who knows it’s for them

Mekon feat. Mark Almond – Please Stay (Röyksopp Remix) (Amazing)

• Röyksopp – Cry Baby (Röyksopp’s Malselves Memorabilia Mix)

Pogo makes his beats out of sound clips from movies like Alice In Wonderland and Mary Poppins
